I’ve had this special quilt in my collection for a while. It’s an 1800’s Mariner’s Compass. This is not a pattern we see often and I believe to be very desirable to collectors. The quilting on this quilt is the showstopper, it’s absolutely incredible. The quilt drape and texture is also top notch. It has a great feel to it. The red fabrics have deteriorated over time throughout the quilt. Only noticeable when you are close up. There are also a couple light stains. I have not cleaned. I typically don’t on quilts of this age. Measures 72x88”
